Emma Sonnier is an independent curator based in Lafayette, Louisiana, whose work is informed by an academic background in History and Art History from Loyola University in New Orleans. She’s currently pursuing a Master’s in Museum Studies at Johns Hopkins University. Her professional journey spans roles as the Visual Arts Coordinator at Acadiana Center for the Arts, Preparator for the Bare Walls program at Basin Arts, and co-founder and curator of ARCHIVES Exhibitions, where she has designed immersive exhibitions that preserve artistic legacies while cultivating meaningful dialogue and community engagement.
